Challenging lies went really well for the Remain campaign, didnāt it? Optics are everything in politics, especially since, as John Cleese put it, our political culture has become ātabloidā. There are millions of voters without even basic critical thinking skills, who will conclude / be told the appointmentās corrupt. Youāve easily won the argument at The Guardian, but itās the Express, Mail and Telegraph you need to worry about.

Can you imagine how Labour would have reacted if the loons had hired her? It looks terrible and to be fair, there are senior civil servants quoted as being angry and gob-smacked. Itās a stupid political decision, regardless of āthe factsā around it. British politics doesnāt run on facts, especially in this day and age. Itāll be interesting to see how Johnson exploits this. The one bit of good news is that the Tory party has maybe moved on from him. I doubt heās coming back, thank God.

Iāll still vote Labour, but theyāve now got to waste time and energy fending off the fallout from all this, from politicians and media organisations who sadly do matter when it comes to influencing casual, floating voters. Politics is marketing at the end of the day. And a lot of the customers donāt dig too deep when they make their choice. Anyway, nice talking to you. I see they are asking urgent questions about Sue Grayās appointment with the labour party. I would have thought there should be an urgent question asked about how a civil servant(Case) can become a loan shark to Johnson. Might we see Cummings drag his pile of notes out of his slimehole and nail Johnson to the cross once and for all.

Allegedly, questions are being asked about whether she told her bosses she had been approached by Keir Starmer which apparently she is duty bound to do. If she didnāt then she could be in breach of the ācivil service codeā which is similar to the āministerial codeā.
theyāre just clutching at straws - anything to divert attention away from the pitiful shenanigans surrounding the Sunak administration, de Pfeffleās impending appearance before the select committee and Handycockās WhatsApp messages during the pandemic which will no doubt implicate many of that administration.
