Not just in France Phil’, we are never very far from a rat, a few feet, I mean the rodents

Transferred a few thou’ yesterday, the rate was not impressive, but unlikely to improve anytime soon, memories of 1.6, happy days in Portugal 
And how about the EU citizens in the UK…

It des appear that at the moment the application for settlement in UK is far less complicated than applying for a carte de sejour in France.
Methinks that your concerns are somewhat misplaced.
We need the European green card for all expat citizens.

The Green Card System is designed to fulfil two principal objectives:
- To facilitate the movement of vehicles across international borders by the use of an internationally acceptable document proving the existence of insurance (the Green Card or International Insurance Card). etc
I was trying to make the point that at the moment the EU27 citizens in the UK probably need to be more worried than the UK citizens in the EU in the event of no withdrawal agreement being signed ot even with it. At least the ‘rules’ in France are likely to be very clear whereas the UK govt has a very poor track record in the area of citizens’ rights.
