If the Democrats control both chambers of Congress soon enough (not sure when the new senators will be sworn in), they should immediately impeach and convict Trump.
It is not a peaceful protest and had these people been black there would be a pile of dead bodies.

I would like a national slap a Tory day. By the time they have desolved the EU rules so the self serving bastards can sell us out to American food giants, removed workers rights etc. The moral vacuum that is America will quickly become the normal in The UK.
I see myself leaving for foreign shores.

Will we wake tomorrow to discover Trump has been removed from power or the process has begun? It seems a lot of his former allies and republican leaning groups are calling for
action to remove Trump from power. The death of the woman who was shot may focus minds.
But he should be more careful whom he calls friend.

I think perhaps we do not appreciate just how powerful an American President is. He is commander in chief so there is “no removing”. The fact that for 200 years, by and large, handover has been peaceful has been due to the willingness of the incumbent to step aside. This is a very dangerous time - the US is precariously close to a coup. As @Legs Jaye has said - sickening and heartbreaking. I started to watch the news last night and had to stop.

It probably won’t be, but I agree he should be removed from office before he can do more damage.
