True, and I try to avoid watching this stuff.
Though one might argue that it is useful to demonstrate to non-Trump supporting Americans just how far down the rabbit hole the MAGA crowd have gone.

Does Ms. Harris have a strongly held opinion on anything?
We shall see. She has her website to update and the debate to complete. Let’s hope (pray) something positive comes out of all this. It’s getting critical.
She know’s Trump is a lying, rapist, convicted fraud. That’s enough for me ![]()
In his video Anthony Davis refers to Trump as ‘this creature’ which sums up Trump exactly for me.
I understand that she changes her view on abortion less than once a week, unlike the other candidate.
Not every American is aware of anything other than his immediate surroundings. And certainly schooling has left a lot of people unable to think critically.
The average Joe is concerned with standard od living, keeping his job and NOT getting ill.
Any candidate promising to better their wellbeing will get the vote. Add to that a very biased media, hardly any newspapers left worthy of reading and the meddling of gazillionaires buying their Super PAC advertising for the candidate promising the biggest taxcuts.
Perfect storm…
Have relatives who are firmly in Camp Trump and their reasonings are on the McCarthy spectrum - commies etc. I was accused of being an old hippie trying to destroy world order…
If only I could
According to the BBC the US voters want to hear ‘more about policy’ during the upcoming debate. Not sure that Trump can do that based on answers he gave in a recent debate, when he was asked serious questions and all he could do was spew out word salads. At the end of one meaningless word salad reply about child care, he said ‘thank you – very good question’.
All I could hear in his answer was ‘I’ll take care of everything once I’m president when I’ll make America great again’.
In that debate I’m sure Trump was satisfied that none of his answers would be challenged and they weren’t. Not so in the debate with Kamala Harris.
Or…
He needs “policies” that are simple enough for him to remember. So, high taxes on imports (which will not cause price hikes and inflation in the US🤔) and Musk’s war against waste will yield trillions of dollars which will fix everything,
He also mentioned clamping down on fraud, his personal experience in that area will be invaluable.
I cannot say it emmough: God help us all if the bastid becomes president ![]()
For me, the word ‘mercurial’ has a ring about it. It can mean volatile, unpredictable, capricious. And it can also mean eloquent, clever, shrewd.
I’m sorry to read today that the Guardian has described Trump as mercurial! Too noble a word for a creature like Trump.
Mini rant over!
Like this perhaps?
Had a look at Trump’s campaign website – the issues – but the presentation is clunky, difficult to read, and every time you open up to read an issue there’s yet another big glossy photo of his majesty the Trump.
The Harris website is easy to negotiate and easy to read. Very normal looking.
does not play?
@Roger_Lapin has cleverly taken a screen shot while the video was playing. Link above by @Bonzocat plays but every time I hear “Donaltrump” I just feel more wound up ![]()
I changed “clip” to “screenshot” ![]()
It’s right at the end of Bonzocats’s clip, easy to miss.
