Trying to Move to Europe for Work

Yes, آنٹی would be the appropriate term of address for me.

I genuinely respect you. I think you were right to point out my mistake, I should have introduced myself properly at the beginning.

Here’s a community for you, expats around the world including Pakistan and Europe.

There are too many variables related to laws on visas, taking jobs, etc. for any of us to really help. We couldn’t even offer you a job in any of your three ‘areas of expertise’ as we would need to prove to the French State that there isn’t a French citizen who could do the job. This is to protect citizens who pay taxes here feom missing opportunities because someone hires a foreigner (because they will work cheaper, because they are a friend or any other reasons).

You need to look into this yourself with government websites or forums specifically about employment.

It’s remarks like that that make this forum look like a playground for nasty children. Roger Lapin: new name, old habits.

I see Roger hasn’t clarified who the question was directed to but I think I’m old enough to decide for myself whether I’m wasting my time or not.

So agree. It was the first post I opened up this morning and thought “not again”. It’s been so pleasant without stuff like that.

I’m sorry you feel that way and I’ve changed my post. I just can’t fathom why people engage or waste their time on such self evident tire kicking. Horses for courses I guess.

Because it may not be. Because the information on here is often useful to a wider audience of readers who don’t always post. Because many of the people on here are kind, considerate, give others the benefit of the doubt, are not posting with the view “what’s in it for me?” or “why am I bothering?” Because there is a pride in structuring a sentence well and gracefully and using the knowledge we have acquired over the years. Because our lives are rich and well rounded and in many cases long, so we have a lot to offer.

(I could go on, but no doubt your view is I’m wasting my time - nothing I do in my life is a waste of time - I’m doing what I am meant to be doing, in this moment. If not, I would be doing something else. )

Well said @SuePJ.

Yes Monsieur Roger it may turn out to be a waste of time, but often replies to threads do benefit the wider community, so there is no harm in offering information even if the OP is not necessarily deserving.

Can a rabbit change it’s spots? Judging by the replies, apparently not.

Very Zen :slightly_smiling_face: I envy your calmness. I guess it’s decades of MNC indoctrination that has me “driven".

Of course not :joy: But his spots have got him this far, with a wide, large and diverse array of old and new friends. So perhaps the spots aren’t too bad after all :slightly_smiling_face:

Don’t know much about rabbits apart from missing eating wild ones back in the UK and knew even less about the possibility of spotty ones, so assumed AM was over-mixing his metaphors. But no!

English Spot – ARBA.

OTOH they don’t appear to be lapins.
