No it is not at all. However the forum is not as liberal as claimed in terms of free speech not political leanings.
As far as I recall under terms I am not required to have a political or religious leaning to be part of this forum? Maybe I am well wrong?
Therefore I should be allowed to speak my mind as all others are even if I disagree. You are again calling me out because I disagree : calling me a keyboard warrior but never doing the same to others who are insulting or small minded or limited in their views, perhaps because they coincide with yourown?
Mine do not always coincide with the majority on here. It doesn’t mean I deserve derisory remarks or threat of suspension. How very non liberal is that to just threaten someone to shut them down simply because they do not agree?
I do not think what I have said is what you describe. Indeed it was said to generate discussion which is not one sided.

I am not wrecking it. All is wanted is agreement as to how a solution may come about. I do not agree is all. Then I and others are told we are not well read or have to research or are fools. Just because we do not agree.
You wil not allow any contradiction or even listen for one second. As i said please would someone have the courtesy to respond without vitriol

I’m assuming the Covid enquiry footpath will lead to best practice to prevent/mitigate any such future pandemics, based on the evidence being gathered. But that evidence seems to include masculine ego/arrogance in the highest of places, among other failings. Look forward to the enquiry conclusions and recommendations.
But how do we know if a future government will handle another pandemic any better, in the sense of character and personality weaknesses/failings?
Which areas of government should be administered by men or women I wonder? It will be difficult choosing, as I recall an obese woman being appointed as Secretary of State for Health by a woman, which wasn’t considered appropriate I think by SF contributors.

It is very much not a “load of tosh” and threatening to leave the forum just because people are disagreeing with you is really quite childish.
As for the footnote - do you believe that you have free speech in the UK? I don’t - the public order bill makes it very clear your right to protest peacefully depends on the whim of the police and Home Secretary.

Apologies, I normally have you on mute as I find your posting style so disagreeable. You don’t discuss, merely make provocative statements and then shout about freedom of speech when challenged, apparently not recognising that freedom of speech works both ways and, if I find your comments idiotic, then I’m free to say so. Note, I said your comments, not you, so not ad hominem. I still can’t decide if you believe what you say or if you’re intentionally stirring the pot but I won’t make the same error of unmuting (though I don’t think that’s a real word) again.
