Watching them squirm

What must other nations be thinking now!

The thing that I still find so distressing was the flagrant disregard for fragile lives by the people put in positions to protect the people. Sending elderly patients back into care homes without Covid testing them, despite knowing them to be carriers and that the virus would spread. As though old people have no worth.

See previous post from someone else slso read my suggestion on tablet mag. All will become clear if you are ‘well read’ and do ‘your research’

Not aimed directly at you bullyb!

Possibly a program with no Spellcheck editor

What’s the tablet mag? Is ‘progrom’ a typo for pogrom?

The Covid enquiry is nothing more than uncovering sleeze and disgusting language. Nothing so far has served to uncover the way to improve on another pandemic. God bless everyone who died from Covid including my close ones. But we need to learn not dig around characters

Oh Vero as ever helpful. You are right. Damn spellcheck!!

My vote’s still on program. The absence of an editor stays.

That alone, in the people elected to govern Great Britain, is a travesty

Those lessons were already learnt at the time, but there’s no harm in them being shown again. By this I mean the lack of stocks of PPE, no proper supply chain for such etc.

No, we absolutely should.

You or I may already be well aware of the failings of many of those in charge of the Covid response in the UK, but not everyone pays enough attention. Reminding & reinforcing of the paucity of leadership by the party of self-interest needs to be done in order to maintain our collective awareness of the sort of people involved & to not let them near the levers of power again.

However, there are a lot of people who have short memories.

It’s a 'Jewish magazine about the world… Launched in 2009 as an online outlet about Jewish life and identity, Tablet quickly became “a must-read for all young politically and culturally engaged Jews” (New York Magazine )."

I think of if as a Jewish Daily Telegraph.

It would have helped if they had used a capital letter for the title. I thought it was to do with a magazine published for viewing on a tablet

So did I but thought surely not, thank you @Brian for the info. But The Tablet is a Catholic newspaper now I come to think about it, so confusing.

Do you think there is any party which does not serve self interests??

They have their right to be heard. What do uou all have against Isreal and Jews on here?

Good grief. Will you never take another point of vieew

None that should be allowed to get away with everything completely unchallenged.

Including the Likud in Isreal.

Indeed. The Tablet is a Catholic magazine published in New York, whereas The Tablet is a Jewish magazine published in New York. We’re entering "People’s Front of Judea’ vs “Judean Peoples’ Front” territory…

And the potentially “new levers of power”? Will they be any better? If you think so I think five years down the line you will be disappointed. As is no money left as the left td the right and worse debt than now

BTW what are the left or liberal policies for the next term in government? I would seriously like to know
