An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: “Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!”
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks: “Well, how was that?”
The Airbus pilot answers: “Very impressive, but watch this!”
The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed.
After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, "Well, how was that?
Confused, the jet pilot asks, “What did you do?”
The AirBus pilot laughs and says:
“I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry.”
We went to the hairdressers this morning. It was very frosty.
Normally I do not have my hair dried after being cut and our hairdresser said she thought of me because she was a bit late and hadn’t the time to dry her hair before setting off for work. When she arrived at the salon she found that her hair had frozen!
It was the same here, -6C and I picked up the rake to break the ice on the pond and found my hand had frozen to it when I went to put it down ![]()
I had that at school all the time, I was a swimmer and trained a couple of times a day, in winter my hair always froze. And I was always late but that a whole other can of worms.
Edited because predictive text put either instead of winter, making nonsense.
First date with Mrs P featured her frozen hair.
Had to double take that one haha
Im being really dumb but I don’t get it ![]()
Do you see a cut-out for a hand to lift the box… or something else?
Maybe some things are different down under!
