AHH but they are continuous loops so probably think they recorded the same tracks twice :joy:

OK you Vinyl specialists… What’s on the flip side of The Loco- motion?

and the cheerful news is that if you know the correct answer without interrogating Google/whatever… your Brain is in fine fettle :+1:

Whose version? Little Eva or Kylie Minogue?

Now then, I’m old-school

Kylie is old-school too - Auntie Google tells me her version came out on her first album in 1988 - that’s 38 years ago!

Or not really a Kylie fan!

and the cheerful news is that I remember Kylie from Neighbours and more recently from The Voice so my brain cells aren’t quite defunct

Splendido!

the most cheerful news is that if I can lay my hands on my vinyl 45rpm disc of Little Eva singing: The Loco-motion/Turkey Trot.. it might be worth some money to a collector ???

Unfortunately unlikely. Every supposedly ā€˜rare’ record I’ve ever owned is worth next to nothing. My very raw 1977 version of John Cooper-Clarke’s seminal Rabid Records EP, Innocents was pressed in just a few hundred copies (in a Salford back alley), but today’s average market value is a mere €12.

Indeed. I have a demo copy of Fish Heads by Barnes and Barnes which is in the shape of a fish head. It was distributed to record stores as a jokey display piece, but is a real playable record. My copy is still sealed in it’s plastic cover and so has never been opened or played. It’s worth less than Ā£100.

I was only joking

Never mind AI, look at this little amazing little human !

I know nothing about snooker but never tire of watching how incredible children can be.

Talking to family inNashville last night and they managed to get out onto the road but had to use 4WD on the Cherokee to get traction. However on arriving at Kroger, the shelves were still pretty empty so bought whatever they could and then onto Lowe for a battery powered chainsaw. On the good side the insurance assessor has been on Friday and apparently lives in their road, the power has been put back on and the downed internet cable has been reconnected so everyone is getting back to normal slowly. It also showed how all the neighbours checked on each other and how the sheriff came and took an elderly couple to stay in a nearby hotel when the electric went off and they had no heating.

A few of you will know that, somewhat over 4 years ago, we started an Association in the village for people who wanted to improve their spoken French or English. It grew from 1 group of 6 people to 2 groups and a total of 55+ members. We attracted people from far and wide and it was generally considered to be a success.

However, it was proving to be a heck of a lot of work for us and we wanted to have a life outside it. We are in France after all and haven’t had that much chance to explore.

So the good news is that, after a great deal of politicking and so forth, a new committee was approved last weekend. There are about 12 people doing what 2 of us did before and we can start thinking about exploring
