Any cheerful news today? (Nothing negative please! 🙂) (Part 2)

That’s a really evil face in No. 3.

Today is my birthday - I’m 80 years old.

And my best present - we had 1.6mm of rain this morning. Not enough really, but better than nothing. :pink_heart:

and I’m not far behind @David_Spardo - reckon I’ll catch him up in a couple of years :pink_heart:

Just had a thought - who IS the oldest member of this community ?

You’ll have to go some. while you are catching up I am racing ahead by 3 years. But even I am not the most ancient, I reckon @Bonzocat is a year or so ahead of me.

And I am not a kiddy fiddler, my favourite girlfriend is about the same age as me, still genuinely blond and with the most piercing blue eyes, we have rapidly progressed from handshakes, to lingering handshakes, expressive concern for each others’ health, to bisous and yesterday to a full fledged hug to precede the kisses. The next step is to introduce Jules to her Madamoiselle, a tiny, and aged, Yorkie.

Now, you have got to report back on this one David and on a regular basis too. :pink_heart:

Won my bet again, you can be so predictable, only problem is the wager was only with myself. But I will report back, just as long as it doesn’t get too racy for SF and don’t be holding your breath for wedding bells, I have got strangely appreciative of my single occupant situation, apart from Jules of course who does not argue. :joy:

I wonder if Joseanne likes birds, I have got to the top of the walls of my shed/bird hide and pushed myself on to make the floor an imminent foregone conclusion. Once done, the roof must go on but I think I will find a darker paint before long, it is far too alarmingly white Nordic pine for a green deciduous forest.

Green definitely, for all sorts of reasons especily if it has a roof. just in case cough! cough!. how big is it exactly.

2 X 2 metres. The slits are on 3 sides and will have closable covers. For seating I have either the chair you see or a swivel bar stool I bought when I wanted one but they only came in twos.

There will be room enough for a small bed for Jules and maybe me if I feel sleepy in the night there. In the winter there will be a carefully managed fire at the entrance. The door (nearest the camera), like the house will never be closed at night if we are there.

I am inexplicably really looking forward to it. :joy:
