If you judge the 'results' on the later in the 'everything' and 'images' search facilities I think you'll see that many references are from Yesterday...all with a 'link back' to here or somewhere else in The Survivefrance Network Posts....We are the first 5 Entries in Google.
So, were you to set up a site, SFN-SEO.com You would have a keywords phrase 'in your web address' already at the top of the rankings.. Clearly, SEO is much more likely to be 'searched' that SFN, but that is what I would then see as the tasks ie to make SFN 'synonymous' with SEO .... if indeed that were the 'service' I was 'selling'.
In this test I am pushing Branding ( Logos )
But you can do this, for costs of Zero from the ground up.
Open couple of 'allied' FaceBook pages including a 'Community' one for fans/followers/club, certainly a Twitter Account, and 'Create' website ( Template based is fine ), a Word Press and a Blogger account. Things such as Pinterest, Linked-in etc. are all FREE and take no time at all to copy information to. Basically then get into a routine of 'cross' commenting... and encouraging other visitors to do the same.
What is key here is to use the Promotional Power that SFN allows. If you were a business an advert here would, in my opinion, be a sound investment from which you would link out to your site/ Blog...
BUT here's the issue... you need to Post and Comment... You don't have to be 'contrived,' play the game properly, be respectful, honest ( like me ) and offer valuable information on a range of topics. You will always find an opportunity to link out to a non commercial FB Page which you have set up... whch in turn links to your blog ..
Please check The terms and Conditions on SFN, as they are mindful of abuses. But if you do have a campaign to get off the ground, have a word with James regarding a ' Promo-Package' a very good 'starter' with a reach of approaching 10000 ( not allowing for overlap of members and FB likers ) the 'Prize' is the 'Worth a read' recommendation... which is probably why you are reading this now. Once you have achieved that 'status' advertise the fact via the FB pages/Site/Blog etc you have set up! Voila.

16 out of the top 17 Google entries refer back to here or elsewhere. So as a self confessed non SEO specialist I could purchase a URL www.ron-birks-seo. what ev ah have a web site up in a hour or 2. I would do create a circle comprising FaceBook Pages, Twitter, Blog etc and simply cross comment with others. I would operate as an agent or Portal for SEO Gurus. The searchable key word 'SEO' is embedded in the Web address and would be back-lnked etc. This is Reverse Marketing.
