I have to say it, the silence on this genocide shames us all

They should have a voice as all of us do.

Being “creatives” gives them no inate insight.

Because of their position their voices will be heard much louder. Should that be permitted?

Because some politicians (no qualifications required) have loads of cash they can buy air time. Should that be allowed?

Everything is connected.
Everything has a moral and political aspect to it.
Ain’t life wunnerful.

Ahhh…
Aid for whom? Is that the question?

I don’t know if that is you being cynical or realistic?
Or me being cynical for thinking that you are thinking that?

I was being very cynical. That wording could easily cover Zionist aid organisations that won’t lift a finger to help Palestinians, there are quite a number like that.

The question is Tim, should ANYBODY stand by when 20,000 children are slaughtered. IMO Sports, music and entertainment are irrelevant in the face of such inhumanity.

This all seems rather academic for you. It’s 20,000 real kids, little kids, just like your kids, smashed to bits, on purpose, in a cold a calculated manner by a mighty military. I have a visceral hatred of the people that have done this. The IDF has treated these children just as the

I live in the real world, the only people able to stop this are Netanyahu and to lesser extent Donald Trump. What I, you or Ed Sheeran think about what’s happened/happening in Gaza and Palestine makes no difference as we are irrelevant.

Trump & Netanyahu are not (yet) in the same class as Putain or Kim Il Jong. They still have electors out there.
Maybe Trump is not so worried, but his enablers should be.

I can just imagine Sheeran sitting in his hotel room thinking “Well, this is the week from hell, but it can only get better.”

Just seen this too…

This story isn’t going away just yet.

What a terribly sad and defeatist attitude to have. I’m not sure it would have gone well in 1939.

Why nor give a tenner to https://www.hindrajabfoundation.org/ or to https://www.btselem.org/

The US State Department says it has greenlighted visas for a core Iranian delegation and their essential staffers to take part in a UN General Assembly meeting in New York next week.

President Masoud Pezeshkian is due to be a part of the delegation, The AP reported, citing sources. Earlier today, the US denied Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials a visa before the UN meeting

Once upon a time … the US was a pretty good place for UN to be based. Like so many other things, it is time to review that.
