Moving to the actual content in the article (I do rather like the rants on IFLA) I think it is fair to say that Carney has simply got to the end of his tether where the Orange Idiot is concerned and also recognises that the best way to deal with a bully long term is to stand up to them. OK that might involve some short term pain but he’s gambling on it not being too bad (and he has some levers to pull as well).

The OI will, of course, throw his toys out of the pram - he always does when things don’t go his way.

Jonathon Pie has been busy again.

Brilliant. I’ve got a great idea, why don’t we phone Putin and ask him to join NATO because there is soon to be a vacancy, when the Orange idiot blows himself up (by high pressure air, obviously, he has no ammo left).

Only one condition, leave little Ukraine alone as they will soon be one of the partners too. :joy:

71 days to the mid terms, and here he comes, plotting to fix the elections!

Yeah but you Scottish guys have the grace to put an e after the f so we all know what you mean but you didn’t say it

Isn’t it the Irish that do that? Scottish too?

I think it’s more Irish, I don’t really recall it being used much in my part of Scotland at least.

The orange one’s really got it in for Canada, hasn’t he? He wants to rename Lake Ontario as Lake America and to get rid of the French language. He’s lost his mind.

He can’t do that, I have been using the mnenomic Send Me Home Enough Oranges for 70 years.

Yup.

Written with all the eloquence of Sir Les Patterson, Australias Cultural Attaché to the Court of St James.

Could there be a bigger contrast with the oaf in the Whitehouse?

Sadly for us, I don’t think, nor ever have, that von der Leyenis ANY good  I was very disappointed when she managed a get a second term.

I’m a big fan of Canada, one of the countries I do regret never having visited, a big fan of Carney and also a big fan of Sir Les Paterson.
I love people who can take the mick out of themselves as well as others but give them some stick where it matters, so I do approve of this Anglo partnership that seems to be emerging in reply to a moron who somehow got elected, for the last time. Fingers crossed.
