I look at the news on TV and it is, understandably, dominated by the Middle East. I see a part of the world descending into chaos. Not very far from where I live in France. How long before we are directly affected? History is repeating itself. Power hungry individuals are trying to impose their views on the world at large. It was ever thus.

This Sunday Times cartoon shows Trump’s stance towards Starmer and UK airfields, but for me it also demonstrates how Chief Justice Roberts’s mad immunity decision instilled in Trump’s corrupt and twisted mind that he has absolute immunity, and can do anything and everything he personally feels inclined to do, whatever the cost.

If the Democrats ever get back into power and start looking into all this, will he throw a sickie?
Hmmm there has to be an election first.
And if there’s an election, he has to lose it (scarily, not guaranteed)
And if he loses it, he has not to refuse to leave the White House (previous history, Ahem).
And that all assumes the Democrats put up a candidate that gets enough votes.

I know, it’s not looking good. I expect I’ve said before that I think he wants to build a dynasty. 
Don’t forget ‘he’ cannot stand again due to the 22nd Amendment of the US constitution.
What is scary is that he might try to change that rule. However, my money is on him not making it to the end of this term.

It was so peaceful for the four years when he wasn’t in office and now he’s all over the media. I really don’t need another three years of this, I think I’m getting Trump Derangement Syndrome. 
Not possible unless theres political unanimity on a constitutional issue. The bar is way too high. He can’t just change the constitution by decree.

Marco Rubio and others in Trump’s cabinet were given new shoes by their dear leader, who insisted they be worn. Rubio’s were too big, but like the others, too scared not to wear them for fear of the orange one’s glare.
