The Benefits of Vaccination (with thread drift...)

Lol … So annoyed at the rubbish being stated, brain didn’t engage.

Does anybody know what happened to the UK vaccination programme in June? (While other European countries eg. France continued to roll out vaccinations at more-or-less capacity, as you’d expect, the numbers vaccinated in the UK declined dramatically throughout the month.)
Have they hit their own ‘vaccine-hesitant’ limit?
The Guardian doesn’t seem to have reported this at all.

1st doses have been steady since April - in fact they rose slightly through June

What has dropped off is 2nd dose because we’ve caught up with the slower roll out of 1st doses

We’ve vaccinated (at least one dose) 45 million which is 67% of the whole population and 85% of the over 18’s. Over 90% of the population over 50 have had their first dose, over 90% of the over 55’s have had both doses.

So, yes, I think we are reaching saturation.

Annoyingly N°1 son despite being not quite 18 is eligible (we think) and keen to get vaccinated as there have been several cases at school - he’s not isolating but is back to remote online schooling which he hates.

So, he gets a vaccination invite by text, “hey that’s brilliant, the system is working” we think.

Turns up at the vaccination centre only to be refused as “we only have Moderna” (not approved in under 18’s).

Some joined up thinking would be good.

Good discussion here:

Michael Palmer MD, Sucharit Bhakdi MD, Stefan Hockertz PhD

This expert statement was submitted by Italian lawyer Renate Holzeisen in conjunction with a lawsuit that challenges the EU’s authorization of the use of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine on children of 12 years and older. The arguments made here specifically reference the Pfizer vaccine, but they apply similarly to the Moderna mRNA vaccine, and many also apply to the adenovector-based AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccines.

Good to see a U.K. investigative journalist Sonia Elijah interviewing Dr Robert Malone…

And Sonia Elijah’s investigation into the Innova scandal…

And…

The only published articles of hers I can find are within the last few months on The Conservative Woman, so I would consider her a ‘ U.K. investigative journalist’ as much as I am. In fact I potentially have more published articles than she does. None of which necessarily takes away from her content, as you said before, it’s good to listen to the words rather than who they come from, but I couldn’t in all good conscience call someone who’s had 16 posts on a right wing blog over the last few months and a chance to rant for 3 minutes on a radio station an investigative journalist. A trainee one perhaps, a wannabe one certainly, but I already have severe concerns based on the fact that she can’t seem to get published anywhere other than a rather unpleasant blog which at times has deeply unsavoury views. Some people won’t care where the words come from, for me it’s vital in making a judgment as to why they are being said and the likelihood of their accuracy.

Sonia Elijah the conspiracy theorist who like Big tree advocated not wearing masks and catching covid to become immune and BitChute and UKColumn are conspiracy sites through and through :face_with_raised_eyebrow::thinking:

I took a brief look at the UKColumn site because I’m always interested in genuinely independent news sources - but I looked first at the ‘About’ link and immediately noticed mention of ‘the rise of unaccountable EU political power and influence within UK’ and ‘the Austrian School’ (for those that don’t follow economics, that’s code for right-wing extremism).
So again that link between conspiracy theories and right-wing political views.

(To be clear I’m not positing that link, or implying that it is always there for everybody - just remarking on the fact that frequently it does seem to be there.)

I’ve never heard of conservative woman so I don’t know if they are right wing or left wing or whatever…and I only came across her due to her interview with Dr Robert Malone who you must admit is being targeted intensely at the minute…… I dislike intensely the right wing left wing party political divide when lives are at stake…:

The clue on the purpose and focus of The Conservative Woman is in the name :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Helen - the clue is in the name.

Have we yet defined the term “conspiracy theorist“ enough to determine when conspiracy theory becomes an obvious fact…???

I would like to see incontrovertible proof that U.K. column is a “conspiracy site“ as indeed I am still waiting to see proof that The Highwire and ICAN are “conspiracy sites”…

What do you think is wrong with natural immunity…???

And why is it always there…???

I’ve set out to find out to find out why those mostly pro vaccine families who did everything right became anti vaccine in the first place …and what is the link between the far right and far right extremism and how exactly those parents of vaccine injured children became associated with domestic terrorists…???

It’s not enough to just take a brief look at for instance U.K. column and make a decision…

Sometimes we need to set aside political bias and look over the edge of the abyss and discover why that is…(as I know from your thoughtful posts which I love that you always do )

I am still waiting for your ‘factual information’ regarding people aborting straight after vaccination Helen. You do seem to pick and choose to try and support your questionable opinion based as fact.

LOL, I’ve just seen that Del Bigtree was a speaker at the rally that on the 6th Jan directly caused the US Capitol insurrection. Definitely someone to listen to…

Lol ok…so let’s presume for a second that Elijah is indeed a “conservative woman” and she’s an extremist right wing or extremist far right wing woman…whatever that’s supposed to mean…

Yet there she is questioning…looking at bojos governments questionable contracts and jobs for the boys and concerned enough about the risk benefit analysis effects for children that she feels now is absolutely the time to make a stand…

I personally think it’s way past time to set aside politics and look at the information wherever it’s coming from…I know you’re not keen on Robert Malone’s website…but…

No, I am not, because he still can’t manage to change his favicon from the squarespace default :rofl::rofl:

I bet if we search hard enough we can find a page that says…

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, cum primis appetere accusamus ut, quando putent volumus at duo. Id his saepe tractatos necessitatibus, denique singulis est in, nibh dicam voluptua ei sed. Eu per ipsum qualisque inciderint. At facilisi imperdiet abhorreant usu, ei nam homero platonem.
