What is it?

Looks rather fruity to me, and possibly from a tropical region. Wild guess involving input from waning taste-buds :yum:

A bad hair day😉

Or a species of grass?

Not tropical Peter, from our garden in Britanny, but magnified ! Well, with the weather I suppose, will soon be tropical too !

Somebody on facebook suggest “A picture taken just above his right ear”, but no, vegetal and a little part that has been magnified !

The hexagonal matrix in the background is an intriguing clue, the filaments are very fine and suggest parts of a flowering plant
 are we getting warm
?

Yes you are Peter

Is it sweet Corn?

Not sweet Corn Chris

Flower of courgette or zucchini? Just guessing again
I know I’ve seen it somewhere

Wowee! So pleased, Babeth. I haven’t won a competition since I was at school in 1953. I won a “guess the smell” competition at a school fĂȘte and won a set of towels for my Mum.

Hope you will keep up the thread from time to time, your photographs are very intriguing and your subjects well-captured.

Thank you! Peter :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Me too Dan, I really enjoyed his diaries .

Another hero of mine was Enoch Powell, different politics maybe but another highly intelligent man.
